ENGINETECH Q2 WAREHOUSE AWARD - 08/20/2009

Mark Fellanto and Michele Payne were the recipients of the 2009 Q2 Enginetech Warehouse Award for their continued efforts in maintaining a very low discrepancy rate while increasing the volume of Enginetech products shipped daily.

Promar Engines has been our New Jersey warehouse since December of 2003 and was one of the first PER’s across the nation to join efforts in the distribution of Enginetech.

Not only being one of our top volume distribution centers, but also one of our top volume customers and continually maintaining one of the lowest inventory discrepancy rates.

The inventory is kept under lock and key and as Mark stated “there are only 2 keys to the gate. I have one and Michele has the other”.

All build sheets and Enginetech orders are pulled, packaged and shipped by Michele.

However, when Michele is not there, Mark does take care of the build sheets and orders while counting the days to Michele’s return!

MARK FELLANTO JOINS ERC BOARD - 06/07/2007

Mark Fellanto, president, Promar Engines, in Paterson, N.J., has joined the board of the Engine Repower Council (ERC).

Fellanto brings with him more than 35 years of service to the automotive engine remanufacturing industry.

Fellanto currently serves as president of the Production Engine Remanufacturers Association (PERA), worldwide organization whose primary purpose is to give its members the information they need to produce remanufactured engines equal or superior to original engines in quality and performance. In 2003, Fellanto and Promar Engines received PERA's distinguished "Engine Remanufacturer of the Year" award.

"We are delighted to have Mark on the ERC board," said ERC chairman Tom Schrader, Jasper Engines & Transmissions. "His service and dedication to this industry is a tremendous asset to both AAIA and ERC."
 

FELLANTO RECEIVES DISTINGUISHED PERA AWARD - 09/1/2003

Park City, Utah - The Production Engine Remanufacturers Association (PERA) presented a special award to Mark Fellanto during their 58th Annual Convention held in Park City, Utah on August 6-9, 2003.

Mark Fellanto, President of Promar Precision Engine Rebuilders, Inc. in Paterson, New Jersey, received the distinguished Engine Remanufacturer of the Year Award from his fellow association members.

The Engine Remanufacturer of the Year Award is the highest honor bestowed annually on a member remanufacturer by PERA. It is given to the member who has exemplified the ideals of the Association by demonstrating leadership, exceptional performance and dedication in a continuing effort to build a better industry and a better world through association activities.

Promar Precision Engine Rebuilders, Inc. was founded October 1st, 1993 in Paterson, New Jersey with a staff of three people. By the fourth year in business, Promar Engine had 72 full time employees. That same year, New Jersey Business News recognized Promar Engine with an award for being one of New Jersey's top 25 most successful companies.

While the industry has gone through many changes, Mark's goal has remained the same. He is committed to building a quality product that is backed by a strong warranty and is always striving for excellence in the automotive field.

Mark has been a true asset in his participation and involvement with PERA as a board member, staunch supporter of the CoreID and Source PERA projects. He was also selected by his fellow members to serve as Treasurer of PERA for 2004.
