We are offering Ford 5.4 CNC Machined Bare Block. Available in bore sizes .020, .030 and .040 please specify at time of purchase. The block has been thermally cleaned in our Ace pyrolytic furnace, shot blasted and magnafluxed. All threads are cleaned and repaired as necessary. Using our new RMC CNC machining center blocks are precision bored and head gasket surfaces decked for use with MLS gaskets. Cylinders are Diamond Honed using torque plates in our new Rottler H85AXY CNC honing machine for accurate bores and finish. Main bores are honed on our Sunnen CH-100 Horizontal honing machine to ensure proper bearing crush and alignment of main bores. Block are then cleaned in our Axe hot tank, expansion plugs and threaded plugs for water are installed then inspected and wrapped for shipping.
